PROFESSIONAL BOARDS
EMERGENCY CARE
We were constituted in terms of the Regulations relating
to the Constitution of the Professional Board for Emergency
Care Practitioners contained in Regulation No. R 588 of
2 May 2003. The current Professional Board will hold office
until December 2008.
The following professions are registered under the auspices
of the Professional Board for Emergency Care Practitioners,
namely:
- Emergency Care Practitioners
- Paramedics
- Ambulance Emergency Assistants
- Emergency Care Technicians
- Basic Ambulance Assistants
- Operational Emergency Care Orderlies
- Emergency Care Assistants
